Miniflux is a minimalist and opinionated feed reader for RSS, Atom, RDF, and JSON feeds. It is written in Go and ships as a single statically-compiled binary with no external runtime dependencies, storing all data in PostgreSQL. The design deliberately favors simplicity, readability, and privacy over feature bloat.

Key capabilities include automatic fetching of full article content from summary-only feeds, keyboard shortcuts for fast navigation, privacy protections (tracker removal, referrer and external resource blocking), OPML import/export, a built-in REST API, integration with read-later and bookmarking services, and support for fever and Google Reader compatible APIs used by mobile clients.

It is well suited for individuals or small teams who want a fast, self-hosted, distraction-free way to follow many feeds. Its tiny memory and CPU footprint make it easy to run alongside other apps even on modest hardware, while PostgreSQL keeps the data durable and queryable.
