Forgejo (nix)

Forgejo is a self-hosted, lightweight software forge — a community-driven alternative to GitHub, forked from Gitea. Written in Go and distributed as a single binary, it provides Git repository hosting alongside a familiar web interface for browsing code, history, and releases.

Key capabilities include pull requests and code review, issue tracking and project boards, a built-in CI/CD system (Forgejo Actions, compatible with GitHub Actions workflows), package and container registries, organizations and teams, fine-grained access control, and experimental ActivityPub-based federation between instances. It supports SQLite, PostgreSQL, and MySQL backends.
